Here is a link to my Photoshop template which I use to make various wallpapers for my KU990. There's hundreds of layers in it for different images, but critically at the top of the list of layers there are some layers that are useful for layout and at least tidying the O2 logo. The optional layers are....

1. Upper Shaded Bar to seat top row icons better.
2. Lower Shaded Bar sits behind main buttons
3. Tinted O2 Box makes the permanent O2 logo sit in a slightly tidier box (just switch the layer off for other providers)
4. Centralised LG mobile Logo with Smiley and Text
5. Centralised Viewty logo which sits within the LG mobile one.

In combination with the backgrounds provided or your own backgrounds you should be able to make tons of tidy wallpapers.

In photoshop once you have the layers you want visible just do a "Save As...." and save it as a .JPG file and make sure the compression/quality option is set 10. Then transfer it to your phone and enjoy your wallpaper

If you're going to stick your own images in make sure you add a new layer and then move the layer ordering so it's below the special layers listed above. Hope that makes sense.
